Mooresville takes the lead in the 6th inning on a pick-off throw to third that hits off of the bat of the Mooresville batter and scores the runner. Samantha Tingler ties it in the bottom of the 6th with a 2-out solo home run to LF. After Gracen Staunton retires the side in the top of the 7th; Emily Chaisson leads off the bottom of the 7th inning with a single up the middle, then Sarah Spence hits a line drive double; setting up Ashtyn Goddard’s game winning RBI chopper to short stop to send the NW Lady Vikings to the 3rd Round of the State Playoffs next Tuesday as they travel to Taylorsville, NC to battle #2 seed Alexander Central.
