Gate City FC Hosts Railhawks in Match to Benefit Ugandan School

Gate City FC hopes to continue its’ winning ways as the team plays the Carolina Railhawks at 5pm on Saturday, May 30th, at Caldwell Academy’s soccer complex.

The tickets will be $10 and all proceeds go to raise money for the soccer field for the Amazima School in Jinja, Uganda.

“We are pleased to be able to work with the Caldwell Academy on this project,” said Justin Cox, president of Gate City FC, “and appreciate the use of their excellent facilities. We also appreciate the Railhawks organization helping us in this endeavor.”

Marketing Director Bruce Shepherd added,”We encourage all the Gate City FC supporters to join us in supporting this worthwhile project. In this case especially, the more fan support, the better for everyone. The opposition is strong, the competition will be very good, and we hope to entertain a capacity crowd with high quality soccer!”
