Congratulations to Coach Bill Slayton, who coached the Southeast Guilford Falcons to a NCHSAA State Baseball Championship back in 1969 and led the SEG Falcon football team to several football conference championships and he later coached golf for the Eastern Guilford Wildcats…
I may be wrong, but I think Coach Slayton joins Fred Whitfield as the only former Falcons in the Guilford County Sports Hall of Fame….
