HPU MLAX’s Levine Named Jewish Sports Review All-American

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Redshirt-junior Harris Levine of the High Point University men’s lacrosse team was named to the 2015 Men’s College Lacrosse All-America Team, the Jewish Sports Review announced Monday.

“Our staff has really enjoyed watching Harris develop these past four years,” head coach Jon Torpey said. “He is a competitor at the highest level and always has the best interest of the program in mind. This is an honor and a testament to his hard work and dedication.”

Levine was a key cog for the Panthers’ defense serving as the team’s primary long pole defensive midfielder. The Louisville, Ky. native finished third on the team in ground balls (41) and caused turnovers (9) while adding six points –two goals, four assists –on the offensive end.

The redshirt-junior earned second team All-SoCon honors as he helped the Purple & White secure their first NCAA Tournament berth.
