Josh Tobias, second baseman for the Philadelphia Phillies’ Rookie Team, the Williamsport Crosscutters, in the New York-Penn League, went 3-5 last night with a Triple, a Home Run, 2 RBI and 2 Runs….Not a bad night for the former Southeast Guilford Falcon and the former Florida Gator….In 3-4 weeks with Williamsport Josh has two HR’s, 2 Triples, 6 Doubles, 11 RBI and is batting right at .300/at .298….
*****Not bad for the former Guilford County kid….*****

Blake Butler hitting around .350 in his first few weeks. Newton had a good outing this week as well.
How in the world did that team not win a state title?
I don’t know either for a few years in a row that team was LOADED.
The same reason back in 95 when we (SE) had 7 players from that APWU team and lost in the semis… We are cursed!!
