Report on the Southwest Guilford-North Davidson scrimmage from the Central Piedmont Conference fan:
In a surprising turn of events, Southwest Guilford held their own against the mighty North Davidson squad. I believe the situation portion ended in a 14-14 tie. I was surprised as I thought Kennedy McCoy would slash through the often porous SWG defense.
He(Kennedy McCoy) had a couple good runs but didn’t dominate like I thought he would. It’s clear that North Davidson will miss Shy Tuttle and the others from last years D/defense, though it could have just been that the skill guys (especially the QB/Rainey) from Southwest Guilford, were just that good.
