HPU Men’s Cross Country Jumps To No. 9 In Regional Rankings

HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University men’s cross country team is ranked No. 9 in the latest USTFCCCA Southeast regional poll released Monday.

After opening the season in the No. 10 position, HPU improved to No. 9 after winning the Elon Invitational on Sept. 4. The Panthers traded spots with previous No. 9 team Wake Forest, who the Panthers usurped in the season-opening race.

The No. 1-8 spots in the poll remained unchanged. Virginia checks in at No. 1, followed by Furman (No. 2) and North Carolina (No. 3).
