Looking for more local athletes that have gone on to coach in the College Ranks

Do we have more local athletes that have gone on to coach on the college or even in the pro ranks??? We have some that hit the pros out of college for football, basketball and even baseball as players, but how many graduate from college and then go on to coach in college???

Looking to add some names to the list of Vontreece Hayes(Northern Guilford HS/Greensboro College who we mentioned yesterday(named assistant women’s basketball coach at Maryland Eastern Shore) and others such as Josh Chavis(Dudley HS/USC-Upstate) now an assistant men’s basketball coach at USC-Upstate….

Do we have others that we can add to this list????
Here’s one somebody else found:Catrina Green(Western Guilford HS) Asst at Univ of Illinois SprinGfield….
And now another…Brett Underwood:Baseball player at SW Guilford, then a Gold Glove winner at Catawba and until recently was an Assistant Coach at Pfeiffer.

Looking for local high school players who have gone on to coach college basketball and football. Local athletes need to see that if they can’t make it in the NFL/NBA/MLB then they can become coaches at the next level…..

We lots coaching on the high school level that went to school here locally, but what about hitting the floor or field at the collegiate level???
