Kwe goes another way and he will play for Tennessee:Parker(WES) commits to Volunteers after originally selecting Rutgers:On the court with Michael Fields

Kwe Parker (Wesleyan Christian Academy) originally decided to play at Rutgers University.

He decided that this was not a good choice for him. He decommitted from the Scarlet Knights to open up his options again for playing collegiate basketball.

Many people and fans of Kwe thought that he would go to an ACC school since he decommitted from Rutgers. Some people thought that Kwe would choose Wake Forest since it is close to home for him. He plays at Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, which is really close to Wake Forest.

Kwe decided to take another route. He did not choose Wake Forest University. He did not even choose an ACC school to play.

Again, he chose to go another way and do what nobody thought that he would do. Kwe decided to go play in the SEC. He wants to go play at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. I guess that he wanted to face up with Kentucky in conference play and other talented SEC basketball powerhouses.

Kwe has joined a few more players from the area to go play at Tennessee. He joins fellow incoming freshmen Volunteers Grant Williams (Charlotte, NC-Providence Day School) and Jalen Johnson (High Point, NC-Wesleyan Christian Academy). It will be interesting how Kwe plays in college, especially at Tennessee and in the SEC!
