Frankie Eaves(Page HS/Appalachian) leaves no score left untapped:Frank takes it to the bank and goes off for 38 points at Madison Square Garden

You need to check out the kid from Page High School and now with Appalachian State University basketball, the young man was doing it at Madison Square Garden and not some garden up in Madison, this is the stuff dreams are made of here…..

NEW YORK – Frank Eaves took center stage at Madison Square Garden with a career high 38 points, including 24 in the second half, but it would not be enough for Appalachian State University men’s basketball and they would fall 86-80 to Hofstra on Sunday afternoon.

Eaves would shoot a remarkable 13-of-21 from the floor including another stellar night from three-point range as he knocked down 6-of-12 from long range. The senior guard also finished 6-for-7 from the charity stripe.

*****Frankie Eaves, we knew him when he was in Greensboro and this couldn’t happen to a better young man…Always seemed to have a big smile on his face and he was always going forward/moving ahead in a positive direction….He even showed some similarities to Stephen Curry on some of his shots back in the day and we saw them both, when they came through Greensboro…*****
