GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford used an explosive 2nd quarter run versus Page on the way to a 78-60 victory in the opening round of the Haeco Invitational Tournament at the Greensboro Coliseum. The Vikings were able to exert pressure on the Pirate ball handlers to force a number of turnovers that translated into easy opportunities for the Vikings.
–Tre Turner led Northwest with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals while Jaylen Gore contributed 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Reggie Davis played another solid game for Northwest as he totaled 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals. Jalen Spicer also chipped in with 13 points 6 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals for the Vikings.
–Will Jones led Page with 17 points while Diondre Overton added 10 points for the Pirates.
