GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford came out and blitzed the North Cross Raiders from the opening tap in the Chance Harmon Classic in Floyd County, Virginia on Saturday by a final score of 90-46. After trading the first few baskets of the game, Northwest used multiple spurts to finish the quarter with a 24-8 lead. That lead ballooned to 52-17 by the half and the Vikings never looked back as they were able to maintain a comfortable margin for the rest of the game despite a hot shooting 3rd quarter by the Raiders.
–Tre Turner led Northwest with 19 points, 5 assists, and 3 steals while Reggie Davis contributed 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. Thomas Hennigan recorded 12 points, 3 assists, and 4 steals and Jalen Spicer finished with 11 points, 9 assists and 4 steals. Jaylen Gore also chipped in with 7 points, 7 assists, and 5 steals for the Vikings.
–J. Lowery led North Cross with 15 points while J. Nworah and N. Bailey added 8 points each for the Raiders.
