The roads in town that I have seen don’t look that bad, and they look a whole lot better than I thought they would…..
Possible options for Tuesday….
1)Return to school on a two-hour delay..
2)Return to school on a three-hour delay…
3)No school on Tuesday….
*****Do we have other options and I would say returning on the regular the regular time-schedule would have to be out of the question, due to fact that there will still be some road concerns with our Guilford County out-lying/rural/country roads and even with the heavy rains that they are expecting tonight and early Tuesday morning, the Delay whether it be two or three hours, seems like the best play/option….The Guilford County Schools will have to decide if the two-hour or three-hour delay is the best route/option to pursue….And you don’t want anybody suing you if you make the wrong call….*****
+++++Plus with the wet grounds and cold temps, when will high school baseball practice begin/start??? Start day was today/Monday, but with No School, No Practice and maybe they can begin indoors on Tuesday and be outdoors by Friday or Saturday…..Gyms will on a tight schedule with basketball still going on….+++++

Guilford County Schools (GCS) will operate all schools, central offices and facilities on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 16. Twilight will operate on schedule.
Employees should plan to arrive two hours later than normal start times, except for essential personnel, who should report at their regular start time. GCS employees should contact their supervisors and refer to Board policy AFC and AFC-P for additional guidance.
Rockingham County schools are closed on Tuesday but teams will be allowed to play. In a time change the McMichael@ Williams boys game will be played at 6 followed by the NEG girls@ Williams at 7:30. Info courtesy of Burlington Times News
