ELON, N.C. – Elon University senior tight end Doug Warrick will have an opportunity to perform for professional scouts at this weekend’s NFL Regional Combine in Baltimore.
During his senior season, Warrick caught 17 passes for 128 yards. He posted a season high in receptions (four) and a career high in receiving yards (41) at New Hampshire in early October. Over the course of his four seasons in the maroon and gold, Warrick caught 71 balls for 512 yards and three touchdowns in 46 games. He set a career high with six receptions for 37 yards and a score against Wofford in 2013.

The Hamilton, N.J., native will participate in one of six NFL Regional Combines. To participate in the combine, players must be eligible for the 2016 NFL Draft and have played collegiate football during the 2015 season. The NFL launched the regional combine program in 2012 to serve as a supplement to the league’s National Scouting Combine. Participants are tested and reviewed by experienced NFL scouting personnel. A player’s measurements and combine results, including video of their drills, are compiled and entered in to a database accessible to all 32 NFL clubs.
