STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – Guilford College freshman Tommy Schick shot a career-low 67 Tuesday to finish second among 80 golfers at the Emory Spring Invitational Tuesday. Schick shot 73-67-140 and finished seven shots behind Huntingdon College’s Addison Lambeth (Greensboro, N.C./Appalachian State), blistered the par-70 Smoke Rise Country Club with a 67-66-133.

Lambeth led the Hawks to the team title as well, as Huntingdon shot 294-278-572 to outdistance fellow first-round co-leaders Oglethorpe University (294-284-578) and tournament host Emory University (294-291-585). Rhodes College shot 288 Tuesday and climbed past Emory into third place at 584.
