College Track and Field Results – Guilford’s Evans, Prillaman Run at Wolfpack Last Chance

RALEIGH, N.C. – Guilford College’s Trent Evans (Winston-Salem, N.C./R.J. Reynolds) led the Quakers in Friday Night’s Wolfpack Last Chance Meet at N.C. State University. A limited amount of Quakers ran in the meet, which featured athletes from all NCAA divisions including members of the Power Five conferences and fellow Old Dominion Athletic Conference schools.

Evans claimed 11th place in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:56.73. The time is the third-fastest among non-Division I athletes in the race and was 1.45 seconds away from entering the top-ten. Entry into the top ten would have placed him second among non-Division I schools.

Lucas Prillaman also participated in the meet, running in the 400 meter dash. While placing 11th in a strong field, Prillaman ran the fastest 400 meter time of the season with a time of 50.70 seconds. The time is good for a tie for fifth place in school history. Prillaman ran in a pack of three non-Division I runners separated by .38 seconds.

The meet marks the final post-season meet for the Quakers this season, concluding Guilford’s season.
