The 2016 Region X Baseball Tournament was held in Kinston, NC at Grainger Stadium started Saturday, May 7 and running through Wednesday May 11th.
Three local young men (Levi Gesell/High Point Christian Academy, Greg White/Wesleyan Christian Academy, and Daniel Millwee/San Dimas) were there from Greensboro/High Point areas.
The boys attended Pitt Community College in Greenville, NC and are members of the division I baseball team that won the 2016 Region X Baseball Tournament.
They advance to the next level in Wye Mills, Maryland May 13-18, 2016.
Depending on the success in Maryland, the could advance to the NJCAA World Series in Grand Junction, CO, May 28, 2016-June 4, 2016.
