2016 Northwest Guilford Softball Banquet

Head Coach Rick Shoemaker led the celebration of the 2016 NW Guilford Lady Vikings softball season. With an overall record of 17-3, and an undefeated (10-0) conference season, these Lady Vikings responded in a BIG way to first year Head Coach Shoemaker and Assistant Coach Cynthia Jones’ leadership. Although collectively Coach Shoemaker referred to the entire team as their “Most Valuable Players,” there were individual honors presented to the following players:

Bizzy Baumeir (So) – Most Improved Viking Award
Becca Gold (Sr) – Piedmont Triad 4-A All-Conference (3-time)
Sarah Spence (Sr) – Piedmont Triad 4-A All-Conference (3-time)
Emily Chaisson (Sr) – Piedmont Triad 4-A All-Conference (3-time)
Ty King (So) – Piedmont Triad 4-A All-Conference
Makenzie Watts (So) – Piedmont Triad 4-A All-Conference (2-time)
Gracen Staunton (Sr) – Piedmont Triad 4-A All-Conference (3-time), PT4A Conference Pitcher of the Year (2-time)
