Kernersville Bulldogs won their home opener 6-1 over the PAS of Martinsville, Va.
Dawnoven Smith of NCA&T paced the offense with two hits. Adam Kirkman GTCC, Caleb Edward Mars Hill, and Jake Mayhew of UNCG combined on a three hitter.
Kernersville of the Carolina Virginia Collegiate League lost their season exhibition opener 9-8 as the Hi-Toms of CPL rallied for a walk off win.
Kernersville will open league play Saturday Night at Lenoir Rhyne University.
