Kernersville Bulldogs and the Roanoke Rails split a DH in Roanoke on Saturday with Randy Norris scoring the winning run in a 4-3 Bulldog win in game one Braxton Shetley recorded the save.
In game 2 the Rails clawed out a 3-1 win despite the multi-hit games of the Bulldogs Kory Shumate and Braxton Shetley. Kernersville moves to 8-4 on the year. They take on league foe Carolina Pirates on Sunday at Glenn High in a league doubleheader.
