Coming up tomorrow/Friday at Guilford College will be the Guilford College 7 on 7’s and we are still waiting on Mitch Ferrick, from Guilford to send us a list of the teams that will be there, but we know Ragsdale will be there, Northeast Guilford will be there, and in the past we have seen Grimsley, Northwest Guilford, Northern Guilford, Southern Guilford, Page, East Forsyth, Western Alamance, Burlington Williams and others there…Like we said yesterday, Western Alamance defeated Northern Guilford in the finals last year at Guilford and if Northern is there this year, they will be there with a new QB, RB and several new receivers….
Miles Timmons, the quarterback gone to Winston-Salem State, C.J. Freeman, the key RB gone to South Carolina and Tucker Hord, the little spot-on receiver has graduated and may have moved on to Guilford College…Top returning player for the Nighthawks might well be Ford Moser who is coming back after that lacerated spleen he suffered last season…Will he be at QB, WR, DB or all of the above???
Get on over to Guilford and check it all out on Friday….We also looking to see if Southwest Guilford will be at Guilford, for a chance to see how Jaren Rainey does in this setting…I would think, very good as the SWG Cowboys QB…
Any way if East Forsyth is at Guilford they could well be the favorite to take the title….Teams will check-in at 2pm, the games begin at 3:15 and each team is guaranteed at least 4 games…Hoping to get that list of teams from Mitch Ferrick later on today…
