The Kernersville Bulldogs defeated the WPL Virginia Marlins 17-0 Wed night. Michael Garvey with a 4-6 and 4 rbi night, Braxton Shetley 2-5 with 5 rbis, Kory Shumate two hits including a triple and Ryan Stanley with two hits paced the Bulldogs.
Mathew Hailey picked up the win and Caleb Edwards had five strikes in two innings of work to highlight the win.
The Bulldogs 12-4 will travel to the Deep River Muddogs for a league game Friday night at 7PM.
