Kernersville Bulldogs take two from Lenoir Oilers on Sunday:Complete Game from Matt Orth(SWG/GTCC) in Game One while Randy Norris(Dudley/WSSU) stays hot at the plate

Kernersville Bulldogs defeated the Lenoir Oilers 7-3 and 5-4 on Sunday in Carolina Virginia Collegiate League action.

In Game One Matt Orth hurled a complete game seven strikeout, five hitter for the Kernersville win. Randy Norris with a 2-4 day, Jason Smith with a 2-3 game and Robbie Smith 1-2 a key rbi and run scored paced the Bulldog offense.

In game two Kernersville starter Dillon Hardy had a nine strikeout game and Billy O’hara a key game tying double that set up a walkoff last inning rbi single from Dawnoven Smith that scored Harrison Hollis with the winning run. The wins pushed the Bulldogs to a 16-5 record on the summer!

Kernersville plays a make-up nine inning game Monday Night at 6 at Glenn High School before playing an exhibition game in Burlington Tuesday night against the Burlington Royals of the Appalachian League Short season League.
