Talked to Coach Westberg, the head football coach at Northern Guilford was really surprised to find out he was starting up/out this new high school football season with an entirely new football coaching staff…I guess all of the men from last year’s and the previous year’s staffs, have moved on…

Looked like Coach Daryl Brown brought some assistants with him from SG to Grimsley….Coach Wiggins from Smith with some holdovers, including himself on the Smith staff, Coach Bates at Southern, in from Morehead, looked to have a coach or two with him that was at Southern under the previous tenure of Coach Brown and Coach Patterson, at High Point Andrews has not yet released his new coaching staff for 2016…Former Andrews Coach Rodney McCoy had a very good core crew coaching with him at TW Andrews over the past several seasons…

  1. One Coach did stay from the Roscoe regime and that is Coach Justin Davis. Losing 26 seniors and the legendary coaching staff will result in a rebuilding year. Wishing the young Nighthawk team and coaching staff the very best as they carry on the tradition of the Dynasty. All former and future Nighthawks will be cheering you on!

  2. Northern going to be missing those players from the past few years like Tucker Hord, Hunter Wade and C.J. Freeman and Miles Timmons, last year’s QB too…

Wonder where Coach Damon Coiro went???

I read somewhere that NG is still looking for a couple of coaches to fill out their football staff for this season…

  3. Hey Andy, Coach Corio has taken a head football coaching job at Marco Island Academy in Marco Island, Florida. He and his wife moved there in March of this year. Have seen several good articles on him taking over and building his team.

  4. Good luck to him and that’s quite a move for him, New Jersey, Greensboro and then on to Florida….

  5. What do you mean a big move? Every NJ Yankee eventually ends up in Florida. Thought a lot of coach Corio and wish him the best no matter where he is.
