Ren Stewart named new Girls Basketball Coach at the Greensboro Day School

Just got the word tonight during the Greensboro Grasshoppers game that Ren Stewart, formerly the head girls basketball coach at Caldwell Academy, has been named new Girls Varsity Head Basketball Coach at the Greensboro Day School….

Coach Stewart is a graduate of Western Guilford High School and Winston-Salem State University and played football and did quite well in it at both of those schools and took the Caldwell Academy into the State Playoffs on the NCISAA 2-A Level, a place that the Eagles had not been before..

We will have Coach Stewart’s overall record posted up here for you tomorrow and for tonight, we congratulate him on being named the new head girls basketball coach at Greensboro Day School…
Coach Stewart’s four-year record at Caldwell Academy was 80-34, averaging right at 20 wins per season and his conference record stood at 43-5….

A couple a names you might remember from his Caldwell Academy teams would be Hannah Houser and Peyton Kadlecek…

Congrats again to Coach Stewart, now a part of the Bengal Nation….
