Charlie Harville Memorial Scholarship Recipients recognized at Greensboro Grasshoppers Baseball Game on Saturday night June 25…Charlie Harville was one of the all-time great sports reporters from our community….Thanks to Don Moore and Shawn Russell for setting up this outstanding post, honoring these Charlie Harville scholarship recipients….

Jordan Deaton: Jordan is graduating from Northeast Guilford a 4.17 GPA. Jordan played softball all four years while in school, was selected to the All-Conference, All-District and Academic All-Conference. She is a member of the National Honor Society, was the Beta Club historian and Senior class president. Jordan plans on attending Guilford College and would like to become a medical examiner.

Sarah Langston: Sarah is graduating from Northwest Guilford High School with a 4.66 GPA. Sarah played softball all four years while in school. During her career, she has been selected to the first team All-Conference and All-Regional teams. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Hope club and has volunteered for a number of volunteer groups. Sarah plans on attending Chapel Hill and plans to become an orthopedic surgeon.

Anne Tewksbury: Anne is graduating from Northern High School with a 4.82 GPA. Anne played softball all four years while in school, was selected to the All-Conference and All-Area teams. Anne was a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club and was Vice President of the Environmental club. Anne plans on attending UNC Chapel Hill and would like to become a nurse anesthetist.

Camden Williamson: Camden is graduating from Dudley High School with a 3.76 GPA. Camden played all four years on the baseball team while in school. He was selected to the All-Conference, All-Area and All-State teams. He was named as an Under Armour Pre-Season All American and was the Conference Player of the Year in 2015/2016. Camden was a member of the National Honor Society and Technical Honor Society. Camden received a scholarship to play baseball at N.C. A & T State University and plans on getting his major in Exercise & Sports Science.
