Former Greensboro Grasshoppers opponents become WWE combatants on Monday Night Raw

Some of you might find this a bit interesting…

This past Monday night the WWE was in Tampa, Florida, not too far from the home of the Philadelphia Phillies farm team, the Clearwater Threshers….

WWE had a few early matches on the card, so they brought in some local independent pro wrestlers to be jobbers/enhancement talent and they wanted to give these two guys names for the night in trying to be creative and pro wrestling is famous for that and any way the two jobbers/enhancement talents were given the names Carlos Tocci and Mitch Walding, who are both professional baseball players for the Clearwater Threshers and both property of the Philadelphia Phillies, both of those guys played here in Greensboro last year vs. the Greensboro Grasshoppers…

Pretty crazy, but in sports and entertainment, almost anything can happen….

Carlos Tocci and Mitch Walding with WWE, if for one night only and in name only…..

  1. That’s funny. My favorite jobber name of all-time is still “Macho Libre” (old ECW).
