GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Greensboro College women’s lacrosse team placed six players on the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Zagsports Academic Honor Roll, the organization announced Friday.

The Pride’s representatives were seniors Alexa Besch, Kirstin Norris, and Ashlynn Parks, and juniors Kelsey Cenate, Allie DiStefano, and Devan Macheras.

“I am really proud of these girls for receiving this honor,” Head Coach Christie Hebert said. “They not only put in a lot of work on the field, but in the classroom as well.”

The organization honored women’s lacrosse student-athletes from 149 different institutions. The honor roll recognized juniors and seniors who had earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
