K’ville Bulldogs take two games from Rise Up Baseball as Randy Norris goes 5-5 in Game Two/C.J. Needham with two Doubles and 4 RBI in Game One

Kernersville rallied to defeat CVCL opponent Rise Up Baseball 8-6 in game one and Randy Norris doubled and Dawnoven Smith walked off with a single for an extra inning win 4-3 in game two as the regular season play came to a close for 2016.

In game one CJ Needam had two doubles and four rbis, Brandon Ford had a 3-3 day,and Dawnoven Smith with a 2-4 day paced the offense and Travis Tuttle hurled 2.2 inning of shutout relief to pick up the win on the mound.

In Game two Randy Norris with a 5-5 game with two doubles, Dawnoven Smith 4-5 with 2 rbis and Blake Deatherage with 2-4 two doubles and 2 rbis paced the Bulldogs. Mathew Hailey picked up the win also with 2.1 innings of hitless relief.

Kernersville won the Eastern Division Championship of the CVCL but will be the number 2 seed in the post season tourney, as the Western Champion Mooresville Spinners got the top seed.

The post season begins Tuesday as the Charlotte Crushers visit the Deep River Muddogs at 7 PM with the winner advancing to Mooresville .
