6’4″ Northwest Guilford sophomore Elizabeth Kitley has received a scholarship offer to play college basketball. Kitley announced via Twitter on Wednesday October 19th that she had visited and received an offer from Wake Forest University. Elizabeth is the daughter of Northwest principal and former Wake Forest basketball player Ralph Kitley, and Middle College at GTCC Jamestown principal Loretta Rowland-Kitley. Her dad, Ralph, played 108 games for the Demon Deacons. It’s hard to believe that she will attend any other school than her Dad’s alma mater, and , if you know Ralph Kitley, you know he might just nudge her towards Wake Forest, but, of course, in the end, let her make her own decision. Elizabeth has also relieved offers from Elon, High Point University, UNC-Charlotte. This being her fourth offer, says a lot, as she is entering her sophomore high school season. Many more offers, from many large programs will definitely follow.
From Elizabeth’s Twitter Feed(@elizabethkitley) Very honored to receive an offer from Wake Forest University. Thanks to Coach Jen and staff for a great visit!
Congratulations to Elizabeth!
