–The Vikings of Northwest Guilford played host to the Page Pirates. This highly contested cross-town match-up went back to start the game. At the end of the first quarter, NW lead 19-13. The second quarter began similar to the first; a defensive battle on both ends of the floor. By halftime, NW had a slight advantage 35-29. The Vikings went on an immediate run to start the second half. Air tight defense led to easy transition baskets, as NW took a commanding 52-31. Page was held without a field goal for the entire quarter. The fourth quarter saw the Vikings extend their lead even further. Once again, outstanding team defense led to high percentage shots for the Vikings. NW won convincingly 79-49.
