Strong game from Paris Kea(Page HS) for North Carolina Women’s Basketball back on Sunday:Near Triple-Double for former Pirate(News on Hayley Barber from NWG)

CHAPEL HILL – Paris Kea(Page High School/Greensboro, N.C.) finished one point shy of the first triple-double in North Carolina Women’s Basketball program history to lead North Carolina to a 67-58 win over Virginia on Sunday at Carmichael Arena.

The redshirt sophomore had nine points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as the Tar Heels garnered their first ACC victory of the season.

Paris Kea, currently averaging 14.4 points per game for the Tar Heels and is second on the team behind Stephanie Watts…

The Tar Heels(12-4) will travel to meet the Duke Blue Devils on Thursday…..

+++++Hayley Barber(Northwest Guilford HS) leads the Campbell Camels team with 32 assists on the season and this coming in tops in THAT category with only two starts on the year and she is averaging 2.9 points per game and 2.6 rebounds per game and she is making the most of her 19 minutes per game, but the killer has been at the three-point line, where Hayley is only 1-23….College is an education and College Basketball is an education too and they are both learning experiences…Best of luck to all of our local kids that are still playing and they are now headed full force into the second semester….+++++
Campbell Women are (10-4)….
