Game Report on Northwest Guilford-Northside Boys Basketball:NWG racking in Roanoke, as Vikings rack up win over 9th Ranked team in the state of Virginia(Hennigan, R. Davis and J. Davis spark Vikes)

NORTHWEST GUILFORD 54, NORTHSIDE (VA) 50
GAME NOTES:
–In the afternoon game of the LEA’s High School Winter Classic in Roanoke, Virginia, Northwest Guilford was able to hold on and get a hard fought 54-50 victory. The Vikings got the win over Northside HS who was the 9th ranked team in the state of Virginia. Northwest controlled the flow and dictated the pace for the majority of the game as they held a 30-20 halftime lead. Northside came out in the 2nd half with a much more spirited effort and cut the lead to 36-35 in the 3rd quarter, but Northwest was able to stave off the comeback and finish the game.
–The Vikings were led by Thomas Henningan who finished with 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals. Reggie Davis had a monster game with 12 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Jalen Spicer finished with 7 points, 3 rebounds, and 8 assists, while Matt Rakes contributed 5 points, 7 assists, and 4 steals. Jacob Davis was huge for the Vikings as he came off the bench to add 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
–Northside was led by Woodlin and Wooden with 15 & 14 point respectively.
