NORTHWEST GUILFORD 63, EAST FORSYTH 56
GAME NOTES:
–In a battle of conference foes, the Northwest Viking were able to fend off a scrappy East Forsyth team by the score of 63- 56. The Vikings were able to control the tempo throughout the game with switching defenses and timely buckets. The Eagles hit some crucial deep buckets late, but Northwest hit just enough free throws to secure the victory.
–The Vikings were led by Jalen Spicer who finished with 17 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and 5 steals. Thomas Henningan contributed 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals while Matt Rakes added 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. Reggie Davis stuffed the stat sheet with 10 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 blocks. Jacob Davis and David Funderburg combined to provide a post presence for the Vikings with 9 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks.
–Jordan Roberson led the Eagles with 25 points.
