Eleven Tiger Indoor Track Athletes Set to Compete in NCHSAA State Championships

ELEVEN INDOOR TRACK ATHLETES TO REPRESENT THE DIAMOND R IN THE NCHSAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Ragsdale’s Indoor Track program had another huge night last night in the Guilford County Championships, held at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem. Highlighted performances for the Diamond R were Sara Platek, finishing first in the 1,600 meter, and first in the 3200m; Alfred Acquaye, qualifying for the State Championships in the Triple Jump; Chris Coke, winning the Wheelchair 55 meter and the shot put; and Kaitlin Mcgoogan, winning the women’s shot put! After a great meet, the Women’s team finished 6th overall, and the Men’s team finished 2nd overall

Ragsdale now has eleven team members who have qualified to compete in the NCHSAA Indoor Track & Field State Championships, which will be held on February 11th at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem.
