NORTHWEST GUILFORD 78, GLENN 60
GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford and Glenn battled in a conference matchup in Kernersville this evening that resulted in a 78-60 win for the Vikings. After a back and forth 1st quarter, Northwest was able to seized control of the game in the 2nd quarter and never looked back as they were well on their way. The halftime score ended up being 47-31 as the Vikings got several contributions from their bench. The Vikings were able to force turnovers and create opportunities for each other by sharing the ball to the tune of 18 assists on 33 made field goals. Northwest was able to control the backboard as the totaled 46 rebounds.
–The Vikings were led with a breakout performance from Reggie Davis who finished with a double-double of 26 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals. Thomas Henningan also had a double-double of his own with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists. Jacob Davis also contributed a double-double as he finished with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Jalen Spicer added 8 points, 7 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals. David Funderberg (8 points and 4 rebounds) and Thomas Smith (8 points and 3 rebounds) added significant contributions off the bench. Kyle Sullivan and Landon Sutton came off the bench to provide solid minutes for Northwest.
–The Bobcats were led by Chrishawn Lindsay and Toby Brown who finished 18 and 15 points respectively.
