The Southern Guilford Men’s Basketball Team defeated the visiting Western Guilford Hornets by a final score of 61-55. This was a dog fight as both teams were sitting at 7-3 in conference and a win gave them a shot at the conference title. The game was tight throughout but Southern found a way to close the game out late. The Storm were led by senior Garren Dearman who made the most of his senior night with 24 points. The Storm will travel to North Forsyth on Friday where a win will give them a share of the Mid-Piedmont 3A Conference Championship.
