The Southern Guilford Men’s Basketball Team defeated North Forsyth tonight to win the Mid-Piedmont 3-A conference regular season. The Storm enter the post season as the number one seed going into the conference tournament next week. This marks the first time in 25 years that Southern Guilford Men’s Basketball has won a piece of the regular season conference championship. The Storm were led by Senior Garren Dearman scoring 25 points, followed by Dheih Ding who nailed 5 three point shots in route to 19 points, and Tyquan McFadden had 13 points. Senior George Abwok held down the paint finishing with 3 blocks.
