GAME NOTES:
–In the semifinal matchup between Northwest and High Point Central, the Vikings used a 7-0 run to end the 1st quarter after a 13-13 tie. Then the Vikings increased their 7-point lead to 12 by the intermission. The lead then grew to 18 in favor of Northwest by the end of the 3rd stanza and a 31-point 4th quarter put the final score at 85-51. Northwest will advance to the championship game versus Southwest on Friday evening and the game will be played at Northwest.
–Tre Turner led the Vikings with 31 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Thomas Henningan added 15 points and 8 rebounds and Jacob Davis finished with 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Matt Rakes had 8 points and 3 assists while Reggie Davis contributed 7 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jalen Spicer stuffed the stat sheet with 4 points, 3 rebounds, 8 assists, and 3 steals. Christian Hampton added a solid effort on both ends of the floor with 2 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists.
–High Point Central was led by Zab Mc Phail with 12 points.
