…..This is the surprise team of the Guilford County high school basketball playoffs and we hit the Regional Rounds…Most would have said “no way” that the NG boys would still be in this thing….Eastern Guilford and Northern Guilford, from the Mid-State 3-A Conference both still hanging in there/hanging tough as we head toward the 4th round of the playoffs…NG is still playing as a #16 seed, as we hit the Regionals next week…

    HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Rockingham County junior Madeline Hardy scored 35 points to guide Rockingham County past Orange, 56-39, Saturday night in Hillsborough in the third round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A girls’ basketball state playoffs.
