After Hayley Rumley and Melissa Garcia led off the inning with back-to-back singles, Cassie Collins hit a 2 RBI double to right-center field.

The Pride continued to ride their momentum from Game 1 as they jumped out to a 5-0 lead through three innings in Game 2.

Greensboro then got RBI singles from Kali Puckett and Brittainy Rush in the third inning.

The Pride carried the five-run advantage into the sixth inning before the Scots rallied to tie the game heading into the bottom half of the seventh inning.

With the bases loaded and two out, Rush plated the game-winning run with a single to left field to secure the doubleheader sweep.

Brittany Nozet earned the victory after pitching one inning in relief of Hayley Tickle, who started and pitched six innings.
