Since 1976 and 41 years, Bob Harris has broadcast nearly 2000 Football and Men’s Basketball games for Duke. With his recent retirement after the 2017 Duke NCAA Tournament appearance, Harris retires as the longest – tenured play-by-play announcer in the history of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Duke President – Richard H. Brodhead said that “Bob Harris’s voice is probably the most familiar sound at Duke after the bells of the Chapel”.
