The 4x100m relay team crossed the line first in 47.47, a school season-best mark.

“The highlight was us today was Jamie’s big throw in the hammer, inching her way towards qualifying for the first round of NCAAs,” HPU head coach Mike Esposito said. “Kanajzae with two wins into headwinds was also good to see. When she gets fully healthy, she will be a handful for the rest of the conference.

“With the Big South Championships 20 days away, things are coming together, we just need to get completely healthy.”

Next weekend (April 21-22), most of the Panthers will head to Durham, N.C., for the Duke Invitational, while a select few student-athletes will compete at the Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, Va.

John is getting close to some higher bars in the high jump. It is time to sharpen up and get completely healthy and ready for the Big South Championships.”
