Guilford County Kid and One of the “Kings of the Court”, Cayla King for College taking her game to Blacksburg, VA and VA Tech Hokies

from Joe Sirera and from Twitter last Tuesday they are both telling us this:
Northwest Guilford basketball player Cayla King, one of the top recruits in the Class of 2019, has committed to Virginia Tech.

I knew this kid, back when she was still just a kid and how about this, Cayla King will play women’s college basketball for the Virginia Tech Hokies…

Cayla King, Elizabeth Kitley, Bria Gibbs, ‘Little Lindsay’ Gauldin, Sarah Womack, the NWG Girls were the and still are the NCHSAA 4-A State Champions and Thalia Carter was out there in the rotation quite a bit too…

Great to see Cayla moving on in a couple of years(2019) and now she has the basketball for decision behind and she can focus on basketball and have some fun the next two years and here’s hoping she gets to play in 2017-2018 after blowing out her ACL and only time will tell how all of that goes down…Maybe two more NWG Viking girls done with ACL injuries too and it might be Carter and Thorpe….

Most of all good luck to Cayla as she heads down the road and up into the hills/mountains of Virginia and pulls in “Hokie Country”, at Virginia Tech….
