College Men’s Soccer Final – Ferrum 2, Guilford 1

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Keith Ricks’ second goal of the game came with 32.7 seconds left in regulation and lifted visiting Ferrum College past Guilford College, 2-1, in nonconference soccer action Wednesday night.

Ricks, who tied the game in the 50th minute, finished a two-on-one breakaway with teammate Wain Yongkuma in the final minute. The goal came moments after substitute goalie Derek Thomas turned away a hard shot by Guilford’s Jason Aguilar from 18 yards out.
