EMORY, Va. – Cheyenne Grim had four saves as the Guilford College women’s soccer team tied at Emory & Henry, 0-0 in two overtime periods, on Wednesday afternoon.
The Quakers are now 3-6-1 and 0-3-1 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference play. The Wasps moved to 2-7-1 and 1-1-1.
For the match, E&H led in shots (13-10) and corner kicks (4-2).
Kelsey Reilly had a team-high two shots for the Quakers, both of which were on goal. GC outshot Emory Henry 2-0 in the final overtime period.
After the draw, Grim is now 0-3-1 for the year. Wasp goalkeeper Kieran Liseski (2-1-1) stopped four Guilford shots.
Guilford hosts Hollins University on Friday (10/6). Game time is 6 p.m. at the Armfield Athletic Center.
