Get it going, or looking to get the Football in Focus at 6pm with Joe Sirera from the N&R, as we look back at last week’s Southwest Guilford-Mount Tabor game and the ending from that game…..Talking about RB Malachi Maness(Ragsdale HS) now with 1,299 yards rushing on the season and 17 touchdowns, plus Ford Moser(Northern Guilford HS) with 1,009 yards receiving and 11 TD’s, plus which QB will it be, maybe Javodre Paige at Page, but he is only a sophomore…The Lenard kid at Northern Guilford is beginning to let it rip now with Moser and JJ Julian as his primary targets and there are a few more and now lack of LB’s out there to compare….The crew from Page, Johnson and Davis at Dudley and there are many more….

We will catch up with Joe and Dennis White on all of the high school games from last week and again see who is priming the pump for this week’s action in Guilford County…..College-wise we have to examine N.C. State as they head into South Bend, Indiana to face the ‘Fighting Irish’ of Notre Dame on Saturday…..Major matchup for the Wolfpack and then they will find Clemson coming to Carter-Finley Stadium one week later, as the Tigers hit Raleigh on November 4….Wake Forest is hosting the Louisville Cardinals and with Duke and UNC they are starting to run the fade routes and when they get out, they are coming back to the huddle…….

For the college games and pro games you can get those all week/weekend long at KickBack Jack’s on Battleground Avenue and we will look back at last week’s big NFL Thursday Night game with Oakland and Kansas City and spot up this week’s Distant Replay as we hit the Miami Dolphins taking on the Baltimore Ravens tonight at KickBack Jack’s….The 1972 Miami Dolphins, the only Undefeated team in NFL modern-day history with all of those players and we will run our distant replay check list with Joe Sirera and Dennis White and see how many of those old Dolphin names come back to light, tonight, at Kickback Jack’s on Battleground Avenue…..Lots of names to be looking back at, at Kickback Jack’s and old #39 might be right there at the top of the list after signing with Miami for 34,000 dollars a year, coming out of Syracuse, back in the late 60’s and Larry Csonka will get your blood pumping and boiling when you start talking about him and those Dolphins on the Distant Replay…

Modern Day Replay and I was just watching some film today on the Grimsley Whirlie offensive linemen, Zach Harrison and Jack Hassard….We’ve got Jack and Zach tonight at KickBack Jack’s and this should Jack Hassard’s kind of place….Harrison and Hassard, Zach and Jack and we will be looking back at how these two young men became the top offensive tackles for the Grimsley Whirlies….Right Tackle for Jack and Left Tackle for Zach….

  1. I’ve watched both guys Jack and Zach play for a longtime. Both young men have a bright future at the next level. We need more student athletes like these two in the community.

  2. Two outstanding young men and they did a great job at KickBack Jack’s tonight/Thursday…

They will need to have their helmets strapped on tight tomorrow night, because they will climbing up Mount Everest on Friday night at Page, and very few Whirlies in the past have reached the top…

These two might be the next ones to get it done, but it will be a tough climb…
