Area teams still on the rise find the West Forsyth Titans(11-0) at #4(4-A’s) and the Glenn Bobcats(10-1) at #10 in the 4-A poll….In the 3-A’s Mount Tabor(9-2) is in at #10 and the Western Alamance Warriors(11-0) are the #2 team in the 3-A Poll….
The Reidsville Rams check in at #2 this week in the 2-A poll from NCPreps.com….Those are the only area teams that we are seeing in there and kind of makes you think back to the days when you would see Page, Dudley, Eastern Guilford, High Point Andrews and sometimes others, from Guilford County, all in that poll…Sometimes it would be Southeast and maybe Southwest Guilford and back not too long ago, Northern Guilford and Southern Guilford were in there most weeks….Ragsdale and Northwest used to get some pops and props too, but sports times/teams move in cycles and the overall cycle has evolved/changed, and the only team we see from Guilford County in the poll to close out the 2017 regular season is, Page…
The only team I see our Guilford County clubs facing this week in Round One of the playoffs is Lee County(11-0) and they are at #6 in the 3-A poll and they will be hosting Ben L. Smith, from Guilford County…….
