Dinah Neal(Northeast Guilford HS) the real deal with career-high 27 points leading Barton College over Coker College, 81-71(OT)

WILSON, N.C. – Barton College redshirt senior Alex Kimble and junior Dinah Neal(Northeast Guilford High School) both scored a career-high 27 points to lead the Lady Bulldogs past visiting Coker College, 81-71, in overtime Tuesday night in Wilson Gymnasium.

The win was Barton’s third in a row to begin the season, all against South Atlantic Conference competition. Coker fell to 1-2 on the young season with the loss.

Kimble and Neal did most of their damage from the free throw line. Neal made 14 straight before her only miss of the night, and finished the contest 17 of 18 from the stripe. Kimble sank 10 of her 12 free throws for the Lady Bulldogs, which made 30 of 34 from the line (88 percent) as a team.

Neal, a resident of Browns Summit, N.C., also matched a career-high with six steals, while Kimble, a resident of Virginia Beach, Va., added five rebounds.
