GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford and Montgomery High School {San Diego, CA} squared off in the semifinal round of the KSA Events Pre-Holiday Tournament in Orlando, Florida at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex. The Vikings were able to hold off a furious comeback from the Aztecs as they stormed back from deficits of 10, 7, and 9 points at various stages throughout the game. The Vikings were able to withstand the constant pressure from the Aztecs for the majority of the game and limited their spurts from the pressure defense. It was the final minute of the game again today where Northwest was able to execute and make timely baskets.
–Dean Reiber led Northwest with 16 points, 5 rebounds, & 2 blocks. Christian Hampton finished with a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds to go along with 4 assists. Tristan Perry contributed 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists for the Vikings.
–Montgomery HS was led by J. Paranda with 16 points while T. Crawford contributed 13 points for the Aztecs.
